Great family day out with different trails to follow in beautiful grounds. Parking is cheap (one price for the day) at just over £3 Highly recommend if you are in the area.

We visited whilst on a little weekend trip and loved the route we followed here. We stuck to the purple route and hardly saw anyone on a February Saturday morning!
Great facilities with a cafe and toilets available.
It was busier when we arrived as they host a Parkrun there. If I was feeling better we would have joined in!
You pay for parking via the Ringo App.

Great place to Bike from but gets very busy at the weekends. Best to arrive as early as possible.

Good car parking. Nice cafe. Play area for kids. Even better short walks. And longer hikes for dog walkers. Great bike trails

Lovely walk in the grounds. Lots of footpaths with historical and nature information. Parked for 2 hours which was just right as it was a very cold day. But like to go again when it's warmer for a longer walk and perhaps a picnic. Visited cafeteria and toilets. Very well arranged.

Although we turned up after the cafe closed it was still light enough to go to see the ducks which my daughter loves to do
